Thomas Bankowski
Founder
The journey into the world of residential construction first began for Thomas Bankowski in his teenage years when he moved from Frankfurt, Germany, to Kelowna, B.C. at the age of 14. In 2002, his family's own home renovation ignited his passion for constructing & transforming the built environment.

Deeply involved in his family’s own business, Thomas gained invaluable first-hand experience managing clients, coordinating trades, and learning the ropes to navigating complex project financials. Launching Bankowski Built Inc. in 2015, he has grown into a local leader in custom home renovations and is recognized for his commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation, consistently pushing the boundaries of what elevated residential renovation can achieve.

Thomas invests in his team, providing training and educational opportunities that enhance team skills and empowers employees to grow.
​His partnership with the ITA Carpentry Apprenticeship program allows him to guide and mentor apprentices, nurturing the next generation of talent and championing the importance of quality & sustainable craftsmanship.

required to design your build or renovation on time, and on budget.
Preconstruction Design
Work with our design team to create a fully-realized set of drawings, 3D renderings, and all the curated materials and finishes selections required for your project.
Project Construction Estimate
We estimate & cost out your entire project, reviewing & revising with you well in advance of your project start-date.
Project Execution
As your General Contractor, we handle all of the details and trades necessary to execute your job, making the process seamless for you as our client.
The Finishing
Touches
At the end of every project, we meticulously go through every inch of our work, completing minor touch ups and final touches before finally handing you the keys.
